The Home Builders Association of Raleigh and Wake County
The Home Builders Association of Raleigh and Wake County started in 1959 with 25 builders who saw a need to create an organization to better represent the interest of the home builder. The Home Builders Association of Raleigh and Wake County focuses on issues that affect our ability to provide affordable housing for all citizens of Wake County. Since then, the Home Builders Association of Raleigh and Wake County has grown to over 2,600 members. It is the third largest home builders associations and one of the most active local home builders associations in the country. Their membership represents about 90 percent of all new housing in Wake County.
Affiliated with the North Carolina Home Builders Association and the National Association of Home Builders , the HBA of Raleigh and Wake County is comprised of builders & remodelers, developers, and sales & marketing professionals. They serve as a resource for members by providing education and training.
The HBA of Raleigh and Wake County is the voice of the home building industry in Raleigh and Wake County and helps to insure that elected leaders understand the role of housing in the economy and our role of providing shelter for all families.
